A dumpster that fits the work. And the driveway.

Three convenient sizes for residential projects. Every standard rental includes delivery, pickup, and a size-based weight allowance: 1 ton for the 10 yard, 2 tons for the 15 yard, and 3 tons for the 20 yard. Containers are about 8 feet wide and 13 feet long, with heights that vary by size.

Delivery requires truck clearance beyond the container footprint. Compare complete pricing and dimensions, or tell us about the project and we will help you choose.

What does a residential dumpster rental cost?

Standard 14-day rentals are $315 for a 10 yard with 1 ton included, $395 for a 15 yard with 2 tons included, and $459 for a 20 yard with 3 tons included. Interested in a shorter duration? Call for pricing.

Additional weight costs $75 per ton, and time beyond 14 days costs $12 per day. Mattresses add $25 each. Delivery location and material type can affect the final quote. Check the complete fee schedule for dry runs, relocation, overfilling, and contamination before scheduling.

Delivery without the guesswork.

Clear access

Move vehicles and other obstacles out of the approach and placement area. Mention gates, low branches, overhead wires, slopes, and narrow entrances when requesting the rental. Keep that same route open for pickup.

Protect the placement area

We use protective barriers beneath the dumpster. Describe your driveway surface and its condition so we can discuss placement before delivery. Container dimensions alone do not establish whether the truck can safely access the property.

Confirm your materials

Keep material below the fill line and follow the confirmed load requirements. Tires, refrigerators, raw garbage, concrete, dirt, asphalt, and brick are not accepted. Shingles are accepted under the standard load limits.

Good questions. Straight answers.

Which dumpster size should I use for a home cleanout?

Consider 10 yards for a smaller cleanout, 15 yards for a medium cleanout or renovation, and 20 yards for larger volumes of bulky debris. List large items and the rooms involved so we can help you choose. Included weight increases by size: 1 ton for the 10 yard, 2 tons for the 15 yard, and 3 tons for the 20 yard.

Can a dumpster be placed in my driveway?

Driveway placement may be possible when there is enough safe access and a suitable surface. We will discuss the delivery path, placement area, and driveway protection before confirming delivery.

How long can I keep a residential dumpster?

The standard rate covers 14 days. Extensions beyond 14 days are $12 per day. Interested in a shorter duration? Call for pricing. Contact us before the agreed pickup if your project timeline changes.

Do I need permission before placing a dumpster?

Check property-owner and HOA requirements before delivery. For Charlotte street, sidewalk, or other public right-of-way placement, consult the City of Charlotte’s Right-of-Way Use Permit guidance. Requirements depend on the placement and responsible jurisdiction; a Charlotte mailing address alone does not settle the question.

Can I dispose of mattresses and refrigerators?

Mattresses are accepted for an additional $25 each; include the quantity in your quote request. Refrigerators, tires, and raw garbage are prohibited. Tell us about any other uncertain materials before loading so we can confirm whether they are accepted.

Can I put shingles in the dumpster?

Yes. Shingles are accepted and do not require advance approval or a dedicated roofing-debris load. Tell us the roofing material and approximate quantity when requesting the dumpster. Standard weight and fill-line rules apply.

Tell us a little about your project. We’ll follow up with availability and a quote. Submitting this form does not reserve a dumpster.
